Yes! We did it! We got the 4.5m tree trimmed down a bit, got it into the Salon, stood it up, got the star on the very top of it and decorated it!
It's so pretty!
Gabriel's favorite part takes place before we even decorate the tree. He likes to cut the netting around the tree, and watch as the branches spring to life. Maxime did the final cut, when, as he put it to Gabriel:
"Be careful because the tree is going to explode!"
We did the Nativity Scene, too, right after, and lit candles around it. I like putting down the Wise Men, since they were at every Christmas almost since I can remember. And Gabriel likes to put the infant Jesus in the crib.
