Gabriel and the costume he refused to take off for days

preview-image

When asked what costumes they wanted to wear for Halloween, Gabriel said Batman, and Maxime an English Royal Guard. This had been determined weeks before we came to the States, and they were both anxious to try on their costumes once we arrived.

So, this we did on the day after landing.

Maxime looked arresting in his costume (photos to follow), and Gabriel, too. The only thing was, Gabriel just would not take his costume off.

It was a big argument trying to explain to him why he could not sleep in it.

Well, if he could not sleep in it, he sure was going to wear it. We attempted to reason with him that Halloween was still five days away. But we were met with the blank stare that greets all news having nothing to do with his set plans.

And so, for three days he sure did wear his costume. In fact, he wore it everywhere, and never took it off, morning, noon or night.

He wore it:
