Papa walks Gabriel to school in the AM as he elects to ride his bike
Natalya generally drives Gabriel to school. It is not far at all. In fact, it is so close that Gabriel can ride his bike there no problem at all.
Today, Natalya had to go to Paris to get her visa for the upcoming trip to the USA.
Embassy person to Natalya, after studying her past visa history for a while: "Ma'am: why do you go to the United States only in October?"
"For Halloween," Natalya replies in a matter-of-fact tone.
The woman gazed at her, mystified, perhaps half expecting Natalya to summarily produce a broomstick, hold it up, and exclaim: "See, here!"
So, anyway, with Natalya off to Gay Parree, it was up to me to get the little one to school. He wanted to ride his bike, and I had no objection, so off we went.
He knows to stay on the side of the road, and not race ahead. Which he doesn't and he didn't. Even though his bike is a pirate bike, with little pirates painted all over it. haha. So appropriate. A pirate bike for a pirate. That works somehow.
On arrival at school, he parked his bike on the bike rack, we entered and hung his bookbag on the rack hook with "Gabriel" on it, we took a quick photo together, then he entered the classroom with his cahier (notebook), also with "Gabriel" on it, and said hello to a friend.
