Sure, sometimes an arm goes flying into some unfortunate direction, and someone gets hurt, and the tears and accusations quickly follow.
But I have noticed that Maxime has a built-in, self-learned habit of protecting his brother from getting hurt. Even, or especially, when they start to really horse around, serious-like.
The other day they were horsing around on the sofa in the Salon, so I took up my phone camera, as is my wont these days. They were giggling and having fun, and I was so happy to realize toward the end that I had caught this protective disposition of Maxime's on the video.
I share it with you here. It's sort of subtle, but you can see in the end how he makes sure Gabriel does not hit the ground hard, or hit his head.
