Winner chicken dinner

When Rookie was winning last year, Emily would keep in touch through SMS, and as I waited anxiously on the day of a show for her message, it would come through often enough as:

"Winner, winner, chicken dinner!"

Quite honestly, I had never heard this expression before, so the first time Emily sent it to me I asked her where it came from. She explained that it was a kids thing, and that they had all said it while growing up, on the play yard.

So, I told this delightful phrase to Maxime, and we were saying it for days, driving poor Mama to distraction.

Gabriel seemed to like it too, but perhaps it was a little long and complicated for him. But after a couple days, he just came out with it.
